Goods Lifts Helping High Street Stores Prepare for the Lift of Lockdown

Lödige Industries in the UK have recently handed over a goods only lift for a new high street store in Leicester

The customer was keen to have the new store ready to open, so they can welcome customers in line with the Pandemic lockdown restrictions being lifted next month. When the UK Government announced the road map out of lockdown, the non-essential Retail stores inevitably felt a lift in their spirits. The completion of this store was bought forward to ensure they could maximise profits as soon as they were allowed to open. Lödige moved schedules around and managed to get the lift to site earlier than planned to ensure that the installation was complete ahead of time. This has allowed plenty of time for the customer to complete the fit out and stock the store ready for opening.

Being a long-standing customer of Lödige, this client has worked with the teams to design a goods lift specification that is used across all of their stores not just nationally - but across Europe. Together they have worked on over 200 projects together across the UK so there is a great working relationship. It was the Sherpa Goods Only lift which was used on this project, an ideal lift for stores that need to move goods between 2 floors to and from the warehouse.

As well as the high quality and longevity of the products supplied, Lödige pride themselves in the exceptional level of customer service that is provided to customers, old and new.

Whether you require a mezzanine goods lift, goods only lift or a goods lift with attendant there is a free-standing product available that saves on builder’s time and expenses. For assistance on a project or simply for advice on what type of goods lift is best for your store, contact the UK office.
